Alerts and emails
Set Keel HQ alert thresholds and control the emails your workspace receives.
Go to Settings → Alerts to configure thresholds for cash, inventory, advertising and AI usage. Members, admins and owners can change the cash, inventory and advertising thresholds. The weekly out-of-stock email and the AI usage Email threshold are owner- and admin-only. Viewers can see this page but cannot make changes. In demo mode, alert thresholds are read-only.
Cash Alerts
Low cash balance shows a critical alert when Cash on Hand falls below the amount you enter. It defaults to $5,000. Enter $0 or more; Keel HQ saves the amount as whole dollars.
Inventory Alerts
Low stock warning flags a SKU when its days of inventory is below the threshold. It defaults to 7 days and accepts whole days from 1 to 365.
Dead stock flag flags a SKU when it has had no sales for the number of days you set. It defaults to 30 days and accepts whole days from 1 to 365. See Dead Stock Flags for the metric’s display rules.
Weekly out-of-stock email sends owners and admins a weekly list of active SKUs that are out of stock. It is off until an owner or admin turns it on. Members can change the two thresholds above, but cannot turn this email on or off.
Send day and time sets when that email arrives. Choose any day of the week and a time in 15-minute steps, shown in the workspace time zone. The default is Monday at 8:00 AM. You can change the workspace time zone in Settings → Profile. The Get started checklist also offers this email after inventory has synced.
Ad Alerts
ROAS drop alert sets the percentage decrease in 7-day Blended ROAS compared with the previous seven days. It defaults to 20% and accepts whole percentages from 1% to 100%.
AI Usage Alerts
Email threshold sends one email per calendar month to the workspace’s owners and admins when month-to-date AI spend crosses the amount. It is off by default. Enter a positive dollar amount to turn it on, or leave it blank to turn it off. Owners and admins control this threshold; it is separate from the hard spending cap in Settings → AI.
Where alerts appear
Keel HQ shows active dashboard alerts in the sidebar or top-bar bell and in Overview’s Alerts & Action Items section. This includes cash below its threshold, inventory alerts, dead stock and AI usage over its threshold. Keel HQ saves the ROAS drop alert percentage, but it does not trigger an alert yet.
